Terms of service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms apply to your use of TradeConnect, operated by FemTech Bahamas. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What TradeConnect is

TradeConnect is a marketplace that connects people who need work done (“clients”) with self-employed tradespeople (“contractors”). We provide the app and tools. We are not a party to the agreement between a client and a contractor, and we don't employ contractors.

2. Accounts

3. Contractors

We may remove approval or suspend accounts that give false information, get repeated complaints or break these terms.

4. Clients

5. Verification is not a guarantee

We review contractors' documents before listing them. We don't guarantee the quality, safety, timing or legality of any work. Check reviews, agree the scope and price in writing (the in-app agreement helps), and use your judgement before hiring.

6. Contact details

Phone numbers are shared only after a job is accepted, and only to arrange that job. Don't use them for spam, marketing or harassment.

7. Things you can't do

8. Your content

You own what you upload. You give us permission to store it and show it inside TradeConnect so the service works, for example showing your work photos on your profile.

9. Liability

TradeConnect is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for disputes between users, work performed or not performed, or indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of The Bahamas.
